The style of work I do is 100% custom and tailored to the individual. Designs are created to fit your body shape to make a timeless creation of art. Not all projects are approached the same way. This means every client will have their own unique experience with the creative and design process.

I prefer medium to large illustrative projects with surreal, colorful, flowing, expressive designs. See my tattoo portfolio on this site and on Instagram @inacorn. I can also work around, cover, or rework existing tattoos.

After the consultation, we will set up the first tattoo appointment and the research for the design process begins.

Arrive at the scheduled time of your appointment. Bring snacks, hydrating beverages and layers of clothing as your temperature fluctuates during the tattoo session. Once you arrive we get you settled and begin prepping the skin and ready for the creation process. I have a 3 hour minimum and all projects take more than one sitting.

Bring layers, as body temp can vary while receiving a tattoo. You do not want to be unprepared if you get too cold or too hot. Bring layers so this way you can control your body temperature for a pleasant tattoo experience.

Coverups are some of my most favorite projects and are one of my specialties. I see so much opportunity in them and I love to turn a tattoo someone is bummed about into something they absolutely love and feel excited about! That’s just another reason why tattooing is so magical! That being said, it is indeed a special approach and requires a lot of communication and trust with the process. Important things for you to know :

Think it can’t be covered? Bring me your worst! I pride myself in being inquisitive and making sure we are making the right choices together. It may require more than one consultation to ensure all communication is understood clearly and most importantly that you feel comfortable with the entire process. I definitely am a radical optimist and see opportunities with pieces people are not happy with. I have a lot of very unique and expansive ideas, however, you and I being at peace about the entire process including the art is imperative or we do not begin the project. No exceptions.

The goal is to create a design that will cover 100%, flows with the body, is timeless, beautiful, rad, and something you’re going to do highkicks over once it’s complete.

Cover ups require multiple sessions and layering of color. I can explain more of what this means during our consultation and specifically to your design you are looking to cover.

Not all existing black tattoos have to be covered with straight black, black blocks or black blobs. Cover ups do require black, however, there is so much opportunity to be creative here and work with the existing design rather than against it-again, I am happy to elaborate on this during a consultation.
